About Practical Training Classes

Substantial practical training instruction that is supported by tradition

Instructors with a wealth of clinical experience teach the practical training classes at Toyoshinkyu. Teaching in their respective specialties, our instructors educate from a student-oriented perspective.. More than 900 hours are spent in practical training classes during the three years of the program, which makes it possible to provide unstinted transmission of everything from traditional techniques to the most modern medical information: all the knowledge and skills needed for practitioners of acupuncture, moxibustion, and anma/massage/shiatsu. Furthermore, almost all practical training classes are taught by a team of two instructors so Toyoshinkyu is able to provide extremely detailed practical technique instruction.

For more information on the participatory clinical practicum, see “Substantial Instruction in Practical Technique, Including Participatory Clinical Practicums.

For more information on dedication to skill, see “Improve Your Skills by Choosing to Participate.
